Been meaning to get around to this for the past month or more – and finally managed to get myself organised!!
Had a few issues getting SLI running properly, as I kept losing one of the cards when booting up. Needed to strip down the rig about 30 mins in and start again – but this all worked thank goodness
Really just focused on managing the GPU’s, but need to come back and work on the CPU speed and see if I cant knock teammate Dino out of Global Ranking of 4th
Rig is all retail as follows….
The result and a couple of pics of the rig…..
Managing 5 pots by yourself is a good workout, and will be even more challenging once the CPU goes real cold – but this is my next mision in a few weeks time
Use at own risk!

After returning from HongKong Asus Overclocking Championship, I had alot to prove to myself. I did this by taking four world records in a day!
1. new FSB wr, 734mhz
Lowering the NB temperature from -188 to -130 really helped me gain the 10mhz I needed.

2. E8400 frequency WR, 6213mhz
Newbeetle just posted an amazing speed with this motherboard but luckily my little board just had the steam to overhaul it.

A few weeks ago I recieved 3 Foxconn GTX280 cards and the highly anticipated Foxconn Dreadnought 790i motherboard.
After some intial testing, working out cpu maximum speed in vantage and testing each card individually it was time to approach the holy grail of of 3D benchmarking, 3DMark Vantage Triple SLI!
Setup:
Foxconn Dreadnought 790i
3x Foxconn GTX280
Corsair Dominator PC14400 sticks
Silverstone 1000OP
Featuring tek9 4.0s gpu and astra cpu pot
Some serious runs will be complete in the next two weeks, for now you will have to settle for two scary images

Yesterday I fired up the 9650, Foxconn Blackops x48 and 9800gx2, the results were very pleasing. My main benching goal has been achieved, the 3dmark01 world record!
System:
9650 @ 5820mhz (445 * 13) with Astra @ -140
Corsair Dominator pc14400 rams @ 895 6-6-3-5-16 1T
Foxconn Blackops X48 @ PL6
Foxconn 9800GX2 with Tek9 4.0 @ 1015 core, 2370 shader, 1050 rams
Silverstone 1000OP
3DMark01 Validation
Id really like to thank Foxconn for all their support, the blackops is certainly an impressive motherboard. I’d also like to thank Gigabyte, even though this score wasnt done on a Gigabyte board, they have done alot for me aswell! Their new board will sure be this exciting too!
Foxconn Dreadnought next for 3d01 sli!
T_M’s second session with an nVidia 9800GX2 on LN2, and is pretty happy in general with the first set of full 3D suite results.
GPU clocks vs OCP was a constant battle, with ’06 able to do significantly higher clocks than the rest at the same temp and volts.
With only 30L LN2 no time was wasted to get the full set of tests covered, so none are particularly optimised (definately not ’01 heh).
System
Intel QX9770 on LN2 (Astra pot) @ -140C to -165C
Gigabyte GA-X48T-DQ6 (F4 Bios) with Vcore mod
Gigabyte 9800GX2 on LN2 (XFX Bios, Tek9 4.0) VGPU/VMem/Cap mods
Patriot 1866MHz DDR3 @ 2.25V
Western Digital WD5000AAKS SATA
Windows XP SP2 general benching install
NVidia 174.88 Driver
