TeamAU 3DMARK2001SE blitzkrieg this weekend!

TeamAU first to single 133K 3DMARK2001!

I did a bit of testing recently with the recently revived GTX275 Lighting and am happy to report I finally clinched the single W.R. after another bench session

The P67X-UD3R-B3 is a little cracker of a board. Z68 gear is around the corner and will now have the same "X" range (i.e. P67X). For this board "X" means it now supports SLI, has dual 8x in two cards, more SATA3 and USB3, bios extras like PWM frequency %, right angled SATA ports etc, but what’s more important still clocks well and likes 3DMARK2001 .

Test system:
GIGABYTE P67X-UD3R
MSI GTX275 Lightning GPU
Intel Core i5 2500K
Corsair Dominator GT Hypers
Kingpin Fatty pot
Corsair AX1200
Windows XP Pro

Having some fun with 3DMARK01 today, clocking the GIGABYTE P67X-UD3R-B3 with 2500K at 5728Mhz and MSI Lighting GTX275 at 1350/1400 Smile. More here at XS

Dino put up a thread on XtremeSystems about the upcoming non-reference GPU from GIGABYTE, GTX580SOC. Have a look at the thread for more info about how it behaves on LN2 and some initial clocks.

T_M shows how to remove HS from GTX580 GPU

T_M did a quick video to show others how easy it is to remove the stock HS from GeForce GTX580 graphics cards. Don’t try this at home if you aren’t confident about doing this and remember it will void your warranty!

TeamAU reports on a weekend of overclocking fun with X58A-OC board, lots of records broken!

TeamAU had a get together a week ago in Adelaide to put the new GIGABYTE X58A-OC motherboard through its paces and hopefully break some records while having fun. Records tumbled, LN2 vaporised and fun was definitely had by all.

You can read the full report here!
